It tells the story of a ghost doctor named Tao Yao, who can only cure humans and monsters. He travels with Master Liu, the young monk Mo Ya, and Mo Ya's follower, the fox Gun Gun, through the dangerous and nostalgic human world, treating many with difficult and complex diseases from the monsters around them, and solving problems for humans.
