The village helper Katja Baumann wants to have a tetanus vaccination in the hospital. While doing so, she runs into Dr. Jules Thomé, who she likes at first sight. Although her trust in men has gotten a crack since breaking up with her unfaithful ex-husband, she falls in love, which is immediately noticed by her 18-year-old daughter Kiki, who is doing an internship at the hospital.
